Stranded in the year 2000 by an experiment gone wrong, a depressed, dysfunctional physicist decides to fix her future by “mentoring” her own younger self. However, her 14-year-old self is a whole-ass handful, hell bent on uncovering all the time traveller’s secrets for her own gain.

The GALACTIC ASSEMBLY (a United-Nations-esque democratic body comprising hundreds of alien planets) is scheduled to vote on whether or not to admit Earth as a participating member. In advance of the vote, they invite five human teenagers – who have the most to gain or lose from this decision – to make a case for or against admission. An angry, comedic musical exploring the pressure and powerlessness that young people live with while we grown-ups leave them with our messes.
